We are responsible for overseeing the financial and operational management of European Cancer Patient Coalition, minimizing any associated risk, monitoring relevant procedures and internal policies, approving European Cancer Patient Coalition Budgets and end-of-year Financial Accounts and reviewing the Board decisions that are implemented.
I am a programme manager working on infrastructure mega projects for a global infrastructure player in Italy, dealing with the design, appraisal and delivery process, with an eye on sustainability, resilience and innovation. Civil engineer, I am currently enrolled as part time student in the MSc course in Major Programme Management at University of Oxford.
Since my fight with a rare cancer beginning 2009, I have dedicated my time and energy with progressively increasing commitment and responsibility to AILAR, an Italian charity that supports oncological patients in their therapeutic journey and advocates for their quality of life, firstly as a member, then serving in the national board of directors (since 2011), and as president of the Rome and Lazio regional chapter (since 2015). Together with other AILAR volunteers, I am committed to improving care for oncological patients.

legitimise our position of cancer patient representatives before decision-makers
build a reputation as a cancer patient expert within the scientific community
find partners sharing the same vision, values and goals to work together on projects
get the media’s attention in order to publish and disseminate our messages
