As the Finance Manager, Gresa plays a vital role in ensuring the organization’s financial health. She prepares samples for external audits, collaborates with project managers for accurate financial reporting, and strategically crafts budget and forecasts. Her multifaceted contributions are fundamental to the organization’s fiscal stability and growth.
After completing a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Prishtina, Gresa began her career at Grant Thornton LLC as an accountant. Following an internal restructuring, she moved to RSM Global as an external assistant auditor where she worked for the next 2 years, before taking a new position at Devolli Corporation as an accountant and internal controller. In parallel, Gresa completed a professional degree at the Kosovo Institute for Accounting, Audit and Finances to become a certified auditor and accountant. Eager to develop internationally, Gresa successfully applied for a Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament’s Budget and Performance Department. Back to Kosovo, she worked for Global Data Solutions LLC for the next 6 months as an accountant and internal controller and returned to Brussels to join the European Endowment for Democracy in the position of the Finance Assistant Coordinator.
I value the mission-driven approach of the European Cancer Patient Coalition and its focus on advancing innovative treatments and support to cancer patients. By joining the ECPC Secretariat, I hope to bring my modest contribution to making a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.
