ECPC President Francesco De Lorenzo met in Geneva, on the 18th May the President of the Union for International Cancer Control – UICC Dr Tezer Kutluk.
The objective of the meeting, facilitated by ECPC Audit Committee Member and UICC Member Dr Pietro Presti, was to explore possible collaborations between ECPC and UICC, in light of the shared interest that both organisations have in controlling the burden of cancer in Europe and globally.
The meeting laid down the base for a more structured and solid communication between the two organisations, which will continue the very fruitful and productive dialogue kicked off by both Presidents.
