The European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC) will contribute to Work Package (WP) 7 ‘Cancer information an registries’ of the Innovative Partnership for Action Against Cancer (iPAAC) Joint Action, which was kicked off in Milan on 31 May 2018. WP7’s general objective is to enhance population-based cancer information systems to better support evidence-based comprehensive cancer care, with a focus on patterns of care, costs of care and survivorship.
ECPC will contribute to WP7’s guidelines, which will be delivered after piloting a comprehensive ICT model. Additionally, ECPC will advise on the selection of epidemiological indicators on cancer prevalence and survivorship and disseminate the result.
ECPC President Francesco de Lorenzo and ECPC Head of EU Policy Alex Filicevas attended the event.
