ECPC Senior EU Affairs Manager, Dr. Adela Maghear, was invited to speak on December 15, at the closing event of I-Know-How that took place in Gent, Belgium. The aim of the project was to support cancer patients and survivors to return to and / or maintain work by co-creating and piloting new services for employers, employees, medical professionals and job coaches.

In her speech, Dr Maghear stressed on the need for an EU policy framework that can maximise the opportunities for patients and carers to flexibly maintain or return to work, look after their families, and contribute to society before, during and after treatment.
