ECPC Ambassador on Cancer
In the past, Alin Petrache played for RC Paris, Begles Bordeaux, RC Toulon, London Scottish and Beziers. He became European Champion with the Romanian Rugby team in 2000 and 2002 and winner of the Romanian Rugby Cup in 2000 and 2001. He also won the Romanian National Championship with his team Dinamo in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002.
As L’Équipe highlighted in an article, Alin Petrache was ‘one of the youngest presidents of a rugby federation in the entire history of rugby’.
Alin Petrache has a personal commitment to cancer topics as his mother died of leukaemia.
