The 4th of February is globally celebrated as the World Cancer Day.
ECPC, as Europe’s largest cancer patient association, could not miss this chance to create European added value for all its Members, through three important initiatives.
World Cancer Day press conference at the European Parliament
Thanks to the support of MEP Elisabetta Gardini, ECPC contributed to the launch of the 4th February Declaration (click here to download) which reaffirms the principles of the Bill of Rights and recommends 4 main pillars for action to the European Parliament and the Commission. The document, supported by 116 MEPs (click here for the full list) was launched during a multi-party press conference (click here to read the report).
