The utilization of mobile technologies could change the way health care has been delivered and managed thus far. Although no standardized definition of it has been established to date, mhealth can be defined as medical and public health practice supported by mobile devices, such as mobile phones, patient monitoring devices, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and other wireless devices (Global Observatory for eHealth, GOe). Mobile technologies can be particularly effective in cancer supportive care, dealing with the management of the side effects of cancer treatment. Empowering patients and their self-management could have major effects on achieving better quality of life. We thank you for your precious help.
