On the 28th- 30th March 2014, the European School of Oncology-ESO and the Melanoma Independent Community Advisory Board – M-ICAB joint their forces to bring together about 90 stakeholders – Melanoma patients and advocates, clinicians, representatives from the regulatory and Health Technology Assessment boards and the pharmaceutical industry gathered last weekend in Brussels to discuss what ‘the melanoma trial of the future’ should look like.

The President of ECPC, Francesco de Lorenzo, was also present at the event. Please see below his presentation:

In the second day of the conference, Mihaela Militaru, ECPC Director, delivered a workshop on how to lobby at a national/EU level. The workshop was interactive, dealing with concrete problems that melanoma patients have.

Useful for patients interested in presenting their problems to Members of the European Parliament, the handouts distributed during the event.
