The European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC) will contribute to Work Package (WP) 8 ‘Challenges in cancer care’ of the Innovative Partnership for Action Against Cancer (iPAAC) Joint Action, which was kicked off in Barcelona on 14 June 2018. WP8’s aim is to define strategies to improve the quality of cancer care by optimising the use of healthcare resources and promoting realistic and evidence-based responses to existing needs.
ECPC will contribute to WP8 by participating in a consensus meeting to define the definition of neglected cancers using the case for pancreatic cancer and cooperating to carry out an expert workshop.
ECPC was represtend at the event by President Francesco de Lorenzo, Head of EU Policy Alex Filicevas and Community and Communications Manager Anna Rek.
