The ECPC community has just been strenghtened by 5 newly joined full members, ECPC thus reaching 390 member organisations.

“Fight Bladder Cancer” is a non-profit organization and the only charity in the UK dedicated to bladder cancer, founded and run by patients and carers affected by this type of cancer. The major objective of the association is to provide support to anyone in need who has been affected by bladder cancer, raise awareness on the causes and symptoms of this much-ignored type of disease to ensure the earliest possible diagnosis, as well as new treatments and better awareness at political level both in the UK and across the EU. The “Association of Cancer Patients of Kozani” advocates for all kinds of cancer with its main objective to provide psychological support to patients and their families. This non-profit organization also focuses its activities on raising public awareness about cancer, encouraging prevention and making sure that, despite difficulties at the national health system level, all patients have timely access to medical treatment. The “Association of Cancer Patients and Friends Argolidas ‘Solidarity’ – SY.KA.FI.AR” is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 with its major purpose to raise public awareness and make society realize how important prevention and early detection of cancer disease is. The ‘Solidarity’ team also provides psychological support to patients and their families, as well as financial help to those affected by cancer who find themselves in the most difficult social situation. The “Association of Cancer Patients of Larisa” was founded over 10 years ago in order to support and advocate for cancer patients who were facing serious difficulties coming from the financial crisis faced by national health system. Amongst various educational activities and standing up for patients of all kinds of cancer in the area of Larisa, this advocacy group also provides psychological support to anyone in need who has been affected by cancer. The “Hellenic Bone Marrow Transplanted Patients Association – PA.S.S.M.O” provides a complex support and strongly advocates for patients who suffer from a blood cancer or have had their bone marrow transplanted and still struggle for survival. This non-profit organization also delivers public awareness campaigns and regularly seeks for volunteer blood and bone marrow donators in order to help patients in need for marrow transplants.
