The Translational Oncology and Urology Research (TOUR) team is undergoing research on the impact of Covid-19 on engagement with cancer research.

The purpose of this study, COVID-19 and Cancer Research Engagement, is to understand what factors may influence cancer patients’ participation in research during the COVID-19 pandemic. There may be benefits and risks in taking part in research during this time, and the aim is to explore these in detail. In the future, this may help researchers to be aware of this when a new research is designed, and how existing research projects can be adapted to address these concerns.

The TOUR team is seeking participants who are aged 18 and over, and have had a cancer diagnosis. Participants do not need to have had previously participated in research. Any interested parties can contact Saran Green,  Patient and Public Involvement Coordinator: saran.green@kcl.ac.uk.
