Through the EurocanPlatform, ECPC and its partners compiled a document which provides Europeans affected by cancer with the basic knowledge to understand the importance and power of biobanking. ‘Biobanking: Frequently Asked Questions’ was produced in collaboration with expert patient Margaret Wilcox (Independent Cancer Patients’ Voice).
The EurocanPlatform was funded by the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme (Project N° 260791) bringing together 28 European cancer Institutions and organisations to work together in a unique collaboration. The centres shared infrastructures and collaborated on projects to help advance cancer research and treatment.
