On the 20th February in the Hague, ECPC organised the Extraordinary General Assembly to pursue the change of its siege.

As announced through the previous editions of our Newsletter, ECPC organised an Extraordinary General Assembly in the Hagues, the Netherlands, in order to lay the ground for the moving of the ECPC siege to Belgium.

The meeting took place within the premises of the Notary Martijn van Ansem at the Barents Krans notary studio.

ECPC Members and Board Members ready to kick off the Extraordinary General Meeting.

The meeting was attended by

  • Anemone Bogels, Director, Leven met Kanker, the Netherlands (Full Member);
  • Wieslawa Adamiec, President, Carita foundation, Poland (Full Member).

After reading the notarial deed, the notary proceeded with the Extraordinary General Assembly approval on the deed, which was approved unanimously.

What’s next?

The notarial deed concludes the Dutch side of the process of transferring our siege to Belgium (click here for the extensive explanation on the overall process [link to Transfer of ECPC siege, from December newsletter]).

The ECPC office is working with our Belgian notary to adapt the current statute to the Belgian legal system. Once ready, the statute will be sent to all ECPC Members for approval and finally voted during the ECPC Annual General Meeting in Brussels, next 21st June.
